How to make a roller blind？

Material Preparation

Step 1: Measure and cut fabric

To begin with, measure the width and height of your window using a ruler. Use these measurements to cut out fabric such that its width is 5 cm wider than the window’s width, while its length is 10 cm taller than the window itself.

Step 2: Sew edges

Use a needle and thread or sewing machine to sew up all edges of your fabric material so that they do not fray. You may choose to fold over the edges for stitching them up or use a binding strip instead.

Step 3: Attach roller blind tube

Attach cut fabric onto the roller blind tube.Make sure that the fabric lies flat against it and fix it with glue or double sided tape.

Step 4: Attach roller blind chain

Attach one end of roll up shade chain on one side of roll-up shade tube.Ensure that it pulls smoothly through this chain.

Step 5: Attach bottom rod

Insert bottom rod into lower part of cloth so as to make pulling easy since it increases weight attached at bottom by doing so.

Step 6: Attach bracket

Ultimately, attach the mounting bracket to the top of your window. Make sure that it is stable and then hang up roller blind on it.
